“Joann was always a very healthy person. She was extremely conscious of her well being. So one day, when she saw a trace of blood in her stool, it had her worried.”
“I was trying not to get her too worked up. But we both thought it was best to have her get a colonoscopy. In December of 2005, we had her go in for the appointment. The doctor that performed the operation said he found a very small, cancerous lesion.”
“Continuing on, he said the lesion was just a mere blip on the map. He said it should be removed, but there was no cause for concern. A little relieved to hear this, I knew this wasn't the end of it.”
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
